Vanka Regule Outdoor Sport & Film Festival, later also known as Sony Ericsson Vanka Regule Outdoor Sport & Film Festival, was for sixteen years one of the most recognizable outdoor festivals in the region.
Held during the summer months in Sutivan on the island of Brač, the festival gathered lovers of sports, film, music, and adrenaline-driven lifestyles from around the world. Over the years, the Aldura Sport team actively participated in developing the festival’s content and organization, creating a unique concept that combined competitions, entertainment, and a strong sense of community.
The festival program included numerous outdoor disciplines such as mountain biking, freeride biking, trail running, windsurfing, sport climbing, freediving, and other adrenaline-filled activities. Alongside the sports program, the festival also featured an international film festival and a music program with concerts that further enriched the overall experience for visitors.
Throughout the years, Vanka Regule built a strong community of people who returned summer after summer because of its unique atmosphere, energy, and the friendships created through the festival. For Aldura Sport, this project represented far more than just an event. It was an experience that shaped us, defined our path, and deepened our passion for outdoor sports and nature.
Even today, many people connect Sutivan and Vanka Regule with a special time and an unforgettable event that marked an entire generation, accompanied by the quiet hope that this energy may one day return. The place where, at the beginning of the 21st century, the spirit of Woodstock met the energy of the X Games left an unforgettable mark in the hearts of its visitors, creating memories that time itself has not erased.
It was never just an event. It was a feeling of freedom, togetherness, and youthful energy that is still remembered and spoken about with emotion today.
