Meet the team - who are we?

Aldura Sport was not born from a business plan, an investment, or a desire for big numbers. It was born out of a love for nature, the sea, sports, and adventure. And for more than thirty years, it has remained what it was from the very beginning – a way of life before it was ever a business.

It all started with Šteka, a passionate sailor, cyclist, nature lover, and above all, a devoted admirer of his island. Soon, he was joined by his wife Eti, who shared the same love for nature, an active lifestyle, and everything that brings people back to simplicity and the genuine joy of being outdoors.

What began as a hobby and a passion for adventure gradually became a lifelong calling.

Over the course of three decades, countless adventure trips, team-building programs, kayaking tours, cycling and hiking adventures, and various active experiences have been organized. Yet what has always mattered more than the work itself were the people, the friendships, and the shared experiences.

Along the way, Aldura Sport brought together many remarkable individuals. There was Jaka from Slovenia, always a cycling enthusiast. Later came Neven, a passionate climber from Zagreb, who was an important part of this story for nearly eight years. There was also Luce, always in love with Brač, its traditions, land, and authentic island way of life.

Mario and Marko certainly have their place in this story as well, later continuing their journeys in the world of sailing tourism after many adventures together. And it would be impossible to imagine Aldura without Lacko, a true legend and an endless enthusiast of adventure tourism, sports, and everything that inspires people to live active and fulfilling lives.

Tin spent many years with Aldura Sport, a man who grew up on the island and remained loyal to it, sharing some of the team’s most memorable moments. In the very beginning, there was our Vanja, who shared long days with the team in the small shop where it all begun. Then there was smiling Katina, a cheerful spirit who always brought positivity and good energy wherever she went.

Bojan is also part of our journey. He arrived on Brač from the banks of the Drava River and found his home by the sea. Lets not forget Troga who left his mark on many shared adventures.

Josip was with us for a shorter period, while our Jere still stops by the office almost every day. Today, Vanja is also part of the team as he came to Brač because of love and, over time, became an important part of Aldura. And of course there is our Bela, the calm and friendly office manager who keeps countless things running smoothly and ensures that everything works as it should. More importantly, keeps us all in check.

Over the years, many more people became part of the Aldura family and wove a piece of themselves into what we are today.

Behind all these years are thousands of kilometers cycled, countless paddle strokes, climbs and descents, nights spent camping, conversations that lasted long into the evening, jokes that are still retold today, and memories that never fade. So many stories that they could never fit into a single novel.

Of course, there were challenging moments too. Like every long adventure, there were ups and downs. But what always kept the team together were honesty, open communication, mutual respect, and friendship.

Ivo and Etis kids, Maro and Lena have grown up alongside Aldura Sport. Surrounded from an early age by nature, bicycles, kayaks, mountains, and the sea, they naturally developed the same love for active living and adventure. Today, they are part of this story just as naturally as their parents once were. There is no better summer job for a teenager in the world.

We believe these values will continue to guide us in the future. We want to remain a place where everyone can find their own adventure, their own experience, and their own piece of Brač. A place where people come not only to be active, but to create memories that last a lifetime.
