Discover the authentic heart of Brač on this scenic e-bike journey that combines spectacular coastal views, charming stone villages, fascinating local stories, and the island’s world-famous stone heritage.
Starting from the picturesque seaside village of Sutivan, we follow the beautiful coastal trail with views of the Adriatic before gradually climbing through ancient olive groves and peaceful white gravel roads that reveal the island’s rural character.
Our route leads us to the bay and romantic village of Bobovišća , one of Brač’s hidden gems. Here we’ll take a short break to relax by the sea, enjoy a refreshing swim, or simply savor a cold drink in the tranquil waterfront setting.
Continuing inland, we reach the historic village of Ložišća. Here you’ll hear fascinating stories about the village’s unique bell tower and learn about the centuries-old tradition of Brač stone, the material that helped shape some of the world’s most recognizable buildings.
The ride continues through the sleepy stone village of Dračevica before reaching Donji Humac, the town with one of the island’s oldest stone masonry traditions.
We’ll visit the renowned Jaksić Gallery, a family-run artistic center celebrated for its exceptional stone sculpture, painting, and jewellery craftsmanship. The gallery offers a unique insight into the artistic traditions that have been passed down through generations of artists.
From Humac, we cycle through an impressive landscape dominated by stone quarries. We will ride through stone quarries and impressive blocks of stone that tell the story of the island’s most famous export, Brač stone, which has been used in prestigious projects around the world for centuries.
After exploring this remarkable stone landscape, we enjoy a long, enjoyable downhill ride back to Sutivan, concluding a memorable adventure that showcases the very best of Brač’s natural beauty, history, and cultural heritage.
