Sea kayaking – The Northwest Coast

Paddle with our guides and explore hidden bays and beaches of the island Brač. Whether you are a beginner or experienced paddler, we promise good times and safety for all kayakers.

Before we begin, you will receive basic instructions in paddling techniques and use of the safety equipment. You will be surprised how quickly you will get it and feel ready to kayak. Excellent activity for your whole family!

We start kayaking from Sutivan along the North-West coast of the island of Brač, taking in the view of beautiful bays and beaches. As we paddle along the coast we will be surrounded by green pines and olive fields. Sea reefs and endless sea fields of possedonia are the reason why this underwater area is a part of Natura 2000, the largest network of protected nature areas in the world.

There are snorkels and googles on your kayaks so you can enjoy refreshing swim and some snorkeling to check out possidonia fields.

In Likva bay we will stop to hear the story of antique shipwreck. We will take a moment to see „japnenka“, old stone structure that was used to burn quicklime, the most important building component of the past. Reaching „punta“ we you will be rewarded by open view of Brač channel and so called “Split gates”. As we paddle back we will take some more time to rest and swim in crystal clear sea.
